Morning Assembly Report
25 TH JANUARY
on 25 January,2018
Delhi Public School Maruti Kunj celebrated Republic Day. Whole school
participated in the function.
A poem was recited
by Devesh, in which he told us about a soldier's point of view for our mother
India. The poem was appraised by the audience & principal sir.
After that a well
informative Nukkad Natak was performed by many students in which they told
about our fundamental rights & duties. For entertainment, a beautiful dance
show was also organised.
The principal
& whole staff appreciated the program.
January
11H1 class conducted the assembly with the
theme “confidence in Life”. It was a lively assembly full of life started with
the prayer and choir. A skit brought laughter and joy highly appreciated by the
students and the principal. There was a prize distribution giving away medals
and certificates. This was followed by the principal speech and national
anthem.
19th December
8B class conducted the assembly with the
theme “Our soldiers are our real heroes”. The anchor of the assembly was
Tamanna and Arya. He throught was presented by Nistha, followed by a poem
recited by Kansihka. Mahi and Rhea spoke a few lines about brave Indian
Soldiers and their sacrifices. This was followed by the principal speech and
national anthem.
14th December
The
assembly of class VIII-A was held on 14th December 2017 on the topic
“PUNCTUALITY.
Compering was done by Yukti & Tanvi. The thought of
the day was presented by Aryan and a beautiful article was presented by Parul.
Vivaan & Akhil took all students around the globe. At the end Principal Sir
appreciated the efforts put by the class.
12th December
Class
IX E Assembly was conducted on 12.12.2017. The Theme of the assembly was
‘Procrastination is the thief of time’.
The thought of the day was given by Kanak Abuja The news was read by S. Shailaja and Ishita Saklani. An article on ‘Procrastination is the thief
of time’ was read by Siddharth Sharma.
The causes of procrastination, its cure, and Tips to get rid of it were discussed.
A
small skit played by Gargi Sharma, Arshita Kalra, Saksham Sharma and Khushi
displayed the ill effects of
procrastination. A Solo dance programme was given by Neeraj Dwivedi. The
overall programme was hosted by Muskan Sharma and Himanshu Ahirwal.
7TH DECEMBER
Class
IX- D presented the assembly on the topic “Dreams” .The assembly began with the prayer song invoking the
blessings of the God. The anchor of the assembly Somya emphasized the fact that
we need to water the dreams with optimism and solutions, then only we can
cultivate success. Gungun and Nikita presented the thought:“Let your dreams be
bigger than your fears and actions louder than your words.”Sumedha recited a self-composed
poem.Harsh, Tushar and Prachi Swarnim presented an article on ‘Dreams’. Priyank
and Garvit Rakheja took us around the globe with news update.There was 100%
participation of the students in the assembly. The assembly ended with
Principal Sir addressing the students. It was appreciated by all.
21ST
NOVEMBER
9C presented an assembly on the topic “Kites
fly higher against the wind” . the assembly started with the warm prayer read
out by the headmaster in the absence of the principal followed by the choir.
The presentation of the assembly then invited students to read out the thought,
poem and article based on the topic. The national and the international news were
read out. The assembly came to an end with the national anthem.
16th
NOVEMBER
9B students took up the topic “Smile” this
assembly had all the usual inputs like the prayer , choir , thought , article
and a poem but the students ensured that we smiled and made the students happy.
The principal praised the theme and presentation of the assembly, motivated
them to be happy and spread happiness then came the national anthem.
14th
NOVEMBER
9A conducted the assembly with the theme “Life”.
It was a lively assembly full of life started with the prayer and choir. A skit

NOVEMBER
The assembly was conducted by the students of
class 10F. The assembly was presided by the principal. The theme of the
assembly was “time once lost cant be recovered”. As usual the assembly started
with the prayer and choir which was followed by the thought. There was an
article read out to bring out the theme of the day followed by news and
national anthem.
7th
NOVEMBER
10th e presented the assembly on
the topic social media and social life. The assembly was presided by the
principal sir. The blessing of God was invoked by a soul searching song and
prayer. The thought for the day, speech and poem was presented by the students
of this class to highlight the theme of the assembly. A lively skit was
presented to show how we need to socially be careful when dealing with social
media. The principal praised the theme and presentation of the assembly and
motivated the children to forge ahead in life with self confidence and
determination. The assembly concluded with the spirited rendition of the
national anthem.
2ND
NOVEMBER
10 d presented the assembly on the topic
“don’t follow the crowd. The assembly started with the warm prayer read out by
the principal sir followed by choir. Then came the thought which made the topic
clearer, which was followed by speech to bring out the theme. The news updates
from the students of this class had national and international news, sports and
weather news. The assembly ended with the national anthem.
30th OCTOBER
The assembly was conducted by the students of
class 10C .the assembly was presided by the principal. The theme of the
assembly was “FAILURE IS THE STEPPING STONE OF SUCCESS”. As usual the assembly
started with the prayer and choir which were followed by the thought. There was
an article read out to bring out the theme of the day followed by news and
national anthem.
26th OCTOBER
The assembly was conducted by the students of
class 10B. The assembly was presided by the principal. The theme of the
assembly was “journey is more important than victory”. as usual the assembly
started with the prayer and choir which was followed by the thought. There was
an article read out to bring out the theme of the day followed by news and
national anthem.
23 OCTOBER
10 A presented an assembly on the topic
“rhythm of life”. The assembly started with the warm prayer read out by the
headmaster in the absence of the principal followed by the choir. The
presentation of the assembly then invited students to read out the thought ,
poem and article based on the topic. The national and the international news
was read out. The assembly came to an end with the national anthem.
17 OCTOBER
Students
took up the topic “ Diwali” this assembly had all the usual inputs like
the prayer , choir , thought , article and a poem but the students ensured that
we smiled and made the students happy. The principal praised the theme and
presentation of the assembly, motivated them to be happy and spread happiness
then came the national anthem.
Class - XI S2
Today's assembly was conducted by Class
XIS2 on the theme “Rising Up”. The assembly started with a warm prayer read by
Principal sir followed by choir “O Palan Haare”. The assembly was organized by
Mohini Jha and Pranjal Srivastava. The thought was presented by Laxmi Mishra
“Our Greatest glory is not in ever falling, but in Rising up every time we
fall” followed by an informative speech given by Pranjal Srivastava. News
updates were given by Anirudh Singh Kuntal and Ujjawal Bishnoi. A
mesmerizing poem was recited by Rashi Gupta “I will rise”.
The assembly ended with a prize
distribution session. Our school conducted an Inter House Power Point
presentation competition, first position was secured by Satluj house
represented by Lakshay and Deepak, second runner up was Ganga house represented
by Ayodhika and Dhruv, third position was bagged by Chenab house represented by
Sanket and Raj Aryan.
Our school also participated in a
number of shooting events.
1. “Path Finder Global School Shooting
Championship”
Neeshu Saini bagged the third
position. Ayushi, Parul, Priyanshi Parmar and Naveen bagged second
position. Priya Raghav bagged the first position in individual categories. A
team of Kajal Bhati, Hanshika Vashist and Neeshu Saini secured the gold
medals.
2. “2nd Gem for Ghaziabad
Shooting Competition”
Priyanshi and Kajal Bhati won bronze medal; Priya Raghav
and Neeshu Saini won Gold medal in individual categories. Hanshika, Kajal and
Neeshu Saini won gold medal in team event.
3. “2nd Royal Shooting
Championship at Faridabad”.
Priyanshi won bronze medal; Kajal and
Parul won a silver medal; Priya raghav and Neeshu saini won gold
medal in individual category.
4. “3rd Eklavya Sports Shooting
Championship”.
Priyanshi,Priya and Parul won a silver medal.
5. “Mahaveer Top Shot Shooting
Championship”.
Priya Raghav won three gold medals and Priyanshi won a
gold medal in individual categories.
6. “Haryana State Inter School Shooting
Championship”.
Priya Raghav won gold in individual catergory. She also
participated in NRAI events “1st Haryana State Championship” and won 1
gold and 2 silver medal in it. She also bagged Silver in Arjun Indoor Shooting
at Panipat and silver in Rao shooting Sports Academy in Rewari.
7. Shri Bahadur Singh memorial shooting
championship.
Priya Raghav won gold medal in it.
8. Priya Raghav and Priyanshi Parmar
also qualified for the nationals.
11TH JULY
The first morning assembly after the Summer Vacation was conducted by
students of Class XI S1 on 11th July, 2017. The assembly was presided by the
Principal, Mr Akhilesh Chandra Chaturvedi. The theme of the assembly was
'Believe in yourself'. The blessings of God were invoked by a soul searching
song and prayer. The Thought for the Day, speech and Poem presented by the
students of the class highlighted the theme of the assembly.
The result of the Inter- House Just-a-minute competition were announced according
to which Aniket of Yamuna House received the certificate for bagging the 1st
Prize. The second position had a tie between Sneha Mishra of Satluj House and
Sanskriti of Jhelum House.
The Principal awarded the trophy and a cash prize of 1000 rupees to Gaurav
Gandhi of XI C1, who was the proud recipient of the 'Student of the Year' award
sponsored by Times NIE.
The Principal praised the theme and presentation of the assembly and
motivated the students to forge ahead in life with will power, determination
and self confidence.
The assembly concluded with the spirited rendition of the national
anthem.
23RD MAY
The assembly was presented by the class 9C. The
topic was Good Manners. The assembly began with the prayer read out by the
Principal Sir followed by the choir. The thought for the day was read out by
Bhavika. Next was the news brought about by Samridhi Bisht. There was also an
article about Good Manners read out by Mukunj & Saloni.
The assembly became glorious when the NCC & Sports team students bagged
prizes and laurels distributed by the Principal Sir.
Our
school NCC and band team participated in the event “Yaad Rahe Qurbani”
organized by Youth Social Cultural Association on 21-05-2017. Our school has
won first position in the event.
