School Rules & Regulations
- Punctuality and Attendance
- Our school operates Monday through Saturday for all students.
- Students must bring their Organizer/Almanac each day, and we encourage parents to review it frequently.
- Students are expected to arrive punctually, before the morning bell. Repeated tardiness may result in disciplinary measures.
- Leaving School Grounds
- Students arriving with escorts may only depart with them. In case of an emergency, an authorized individual with a parent-signed letter may take the student home.
- Students are not permitted to visit friends or relatives directly from school.
- Conduct on the School Bus
- Students using the bus service must maintain proper conduct. Repeated misbehavior may result in the loss of bus privileges.
- Dress Code and Appearance
- Students must wear the school uniform neatly on all school days and during events.
- Uniform infractions, such as low-waist skirts or trousers, will not be allowed.
- Sikh boys in Class VIII and above are required to wear bottle-green turbans, while younger students may wear green patkas.
- Books and Personal Belongings
- Books should be neatly covered and labeled with the student’s name, class, and section.
- Only school-related books (textbooks or library books) should be brought to school, and valuables, electronic devices, or fancy items should be left at home.
- Mobile phones, if found with a student, will be confiscated, and disciplinary actions will follow.
- Respect for School Property and Environment
- Students are expected to respect school property and report any damages, regardless of responsibility.
- Keep classrooms and school grounds tidy by disposing of waste in designated dustbins. Support the “GREEN DPS, CLEAN DPS” initiative.
- In support of energy conservation, students should turn off lights and fans upon leaving classrooms.
- Our campus is polythene-free; cloth or paper bags are encouraged over plastic.
- Expected Behavior
- Students must demonstrate respect and politeness. Shouting, bullying, foul language, or any form of violence is strictly prohibited.
- Transitions between classrooms should be orderly and quiet.
- Both on-campus and online conduct should reflect positively on the school. Online misbehavior will be subject to disciplinary action.
- Academic Integrity and Participation
- Any form of cheating in exams will result in a score of zero and a warning. Retests are not offered.
- Students are expected to attend all classes, activities, and games regularly.
- Parents are encouraged to attend PTMs to stay informed of their child’s academic progress.
- Additional Guidelines
- Students should avoid lending or borrowing money or items.
- For student withdrawals, parents are requested to give one month's notice in writing.
- Transfer certificates will only be issued after all dues have been cleared.
